PETRONET™ / PARAHEAL™ is non - medicated can be used with or without antiseptic or antibiotic medicines of choice.

Indications :
PETRONET™ / PARAHEAL™ as Primary wound dressing for skin loss open wound burns, Ulcers, Skin grafts (both Donor and Receptor sites ), lacerated wounds and various traumatic injuries, can be used for post treatment in plastic and cosmetic surgery. As a transfer inter medium during skin grafting. To protect the skin surrounding wounds. For prevention of secondary dermatitis caused by irritating discharge.

Contra - indication :
Patients sensitive to Soft Paraffin should not use the product.
PETRONET™ / PARAHEAL™ as such has no contra - indication. However it is rare occurence if the dressing used for heavy exuding wound the semi - occlusive nature cause maceration by preventing movement of exudates away from the surface of the wound.

Direction of use and frequency of change
Clean the wound, apply single PETRONET™ / PARAHEAL™ dressing to the wound surface area being treated. Cover with appropriate secondary dressing.
Repeat change of dressing depend upon nature of wounds. For longer periods dressing left in a position, it is possible to become adherent and can damage tissue upon removal.
